Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy of Abkhazia Kristina Ozgan and First Deputy Minister of Energy of Russia Pavel Sorokin discussed in Moscow the procedure for pricing oil products supplied from Russia to Abkhazia, the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Abkhazia reports.
It is noted that „the decisions and calculations presented by the Abkhaz side were noted by colleagues from Russia as correct.”
„The meeting participants discussed the mechanisms that can be involved in resolving this issue and will be aimed at equalizing fuel prices in Abkhazia with Russian prices,” the press service said.
Discussion of the issue will continue in the coming days.
„An extended videoconferencing meeting is scheduled for July 18, where the discussion will continue with the participation of other federal executive bodies, on which the solution of this issue depends,” the press service said.
The meeting on July 15 was attended by representatives of interested departments of the Ministry of Energy.
