Crimean hoteliers who want to organize a year-round stay of guests can apply for a grant for the construction and organization of heated pools, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic Vadim Volchenko said on Radio Crimea.
He called the creation of year-round infrastructure one of the main tasks of the authorities.
„And this is the joint efforts of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism and the Federal Tourism Agency, they are supported, of course, by the head of the republic. This concerns grant support. For example, grants for the construction of warm pools are a separate know-how,” he said.
According to Volchenko, in the pools where the water is heated by the sun, you can swim until September. A grant will help extend the season – about 70% of state funding for the arrangement of heating.
According to the minister, competition is the most correct „evolutionary way of development, cost reduction and quality improvement.” He also recalled that in the coming years it is planned to increase the number of quality hotels in Crimea, primarily in the 3-4 star segment.
