A draft law on the transition of financial organizations to Russian software was submitted to the State Duma

Vice Speaker of the Federation Council Nikolai Zhuravlev announced that a draft law on the Bank of Russia’s control over the transition of financial organizations to predominantly domestic software has been submitted to the State Duma.


The senator noted in the Telegram channel that members of the Federation Council introduced a bill that establishes the powers of the Bank of Russia to control the transition of financial organizations to predominantly Russian software.

It is noted that the transition to domestic software is necessary to ensure the technological independence and information security of the financial sector.
