Grain prices in the Russian Federation continue to „slide”, this process is most rapid in the Volga region, follows from the monitoring of the ProZerno company, which Interfax has read.
According to experts, „the grain market continued its unpleasant slide into recession last week.”
Thus, wheat of the 3rd class in the Volga region has fallen in price by 615 rubles, to 14,150 rubles per ton (all prices are EXW European Russia with VAT). In the south, prices decreased by 400 rubles, to 14,450 rubles per ton, in the center – by 385 rubles, to 14,817 rubles, in the Urals – by 300 rubles, to 16,283 rubles, in the Chernozem region – by 290 rubles, to 14,370 rubles . At the same time, prices in Siberia recovered by 250 rubles to 15,733 rubles per tonne after the fall.
Prices for grade 4 wheat in the center and the Volga region decreased by 465-485 rubles, to 14,150 and 13,588 rubles per ton, respectively. In the Chernozem region, the fall was 440 rubles, to 13,790 rubles, in the south – by 350 rubles, to 13,933 rubles, in the Urals – by 100 rubles, to 15,750 rubles per ton. In Siberia, as well as in the market of wheat of the 3rd class, there was a slight recovery in prices – by 50 rubles.
The fall in prices for grade 5 wheat was quite even. In the south and in the Volga region, this grain fell in price by 415 rubles, to 13,417 and 13,075 rubles, respectively, in the center – by 400 rubles, to 13,676 rubles, in the Chernozem region – by 370 rubles, to 13,350 rubles per ton. In the Urals, the decline was insignificant; in Siberia, prices did not change.
Prices for feed barley generally declined moderately, but the dynamics in the Volga region was more noticeable – by 265 rubles, to 13,438 rubles. In the south, barley fell by 200 rubles, to 12,433 rubles, in the center – by 150 rubles, to 14,200 rubles per ton. In other regions, prices fell slightly, in Siberia – no change.
The Volga region „distinguished itself” in the rye market. But prices here have risen – by 500 rubles at once, to 14,563 rubles per ton. In other regions they have not changed.
Prices for corn in the Volga region decreased by 400 rubles, to 13,350 rubles, in the Chernozem region – by 230 rubles, to 13,550 rubles per ton. In the center and in the south, the decline was insignificant.
Prices for peas fell the most in Siberia – by 1,750 rubles. In the Volga region, the fall was 1,460 rubles, in the center and the Chernozem region – by 550 rubles. In the south and in the ports, growth continued – by 165 and 500 rubles, respectively.
