The price of WTI crude oil fell back to the $78 level after today’s rise to $79.88. The gain pushed the price above the 100 hourly moving average, which is currently at $79.19. However, the momentum could not be maintained and after falling below the moving average, buyers turned to sellers. Also on November 22nd and 23rd, the price rose above the 100 hourly moving average, only to come back a little later.
