The monetary base of Russia in a narrow definition increased in the week to July 8 to 14.281 trillion rubles

MOSCOW, July 15 – PRIME. The volume of the monetary base of the Russian Federation in a narrow definition as of July 8 amounted to 14.281 trillion rubles after 14.169 trillion on July 1, the Bank of Russia reported.

Thus, the monetary base for this period increased by 112.6 billion rubles, or 0.79%.

The monetary base in the narrow definition includes cash issued by the Bank of Russia (taking into account balances in the cash desks of credit institutions) and balances on the accounts of required reserves for funds attracted by credit institutions in national currency deposited with the Bank of Russia.
